Bamboo Utensil Holder
6" high x 4" diameter

NATURE’S MVP (most versatile plant . . . very possibly) . . . Bamboo is a natural grass that is constantly replenishing – therefore it is known to be a sustainable resource. Bamboo is less absorbent than wood and is therefore easier to keep clean and sanitary. Bamboo is attractive and lightweight and can be left untreated in its most authentic state or it can be treated to lend itself to certain purposes. It is also used for many things from construction of furniture and houses to snacking on and powering diesel engines with – it is one of the most versatile resources in the world (just don’t try to eat the utensils!)

Keep the most important cooking tools at hand’s reach; the bamboo utensil holder also makes a beautiful writing-implement cup; it’s handy in an office, a workshop or on the kitchen counter. This is a very sturdy cup; barrel-shaped, 6” high with a 4” diameter in natural, unfinished bamboo. A classic and rustic design.

The utensil holder is made from bamboo culm. The culm is located in the lower part of a bamboo stalk because the lower part is wider in diameter than the upper part. The utensil holder is made from a solid piece through a process of cutting, boiling, drying, polishing, sanding and coating.
